MV Substation 24kV

Vedado (Cuba)

Description

Design, construction and supply of electrical equipment destined for the new 5-star hotel "Torre K" in Vedado, in Havana.

With its 152 meters high, it will be the tallest skyscraper in Cuba, counting 42 floors and 565 rooms, and it will be equipped with various services (swimming pools, restaurants and shops).
The substation will be used for the distribution of electricity in the entire structure, to ensure a holiday in full comfort for all guests.
In detail, we have designed and constructed an air-insulated medium voltage switchgear Normal Clad (n. 12 cubicles) 24kV 1250A 25kA (3s), Euro-SDS low voltage switchboard, auxiliary service transformers, SCADA system for the control, supervision and automation of the plant, and auxiliary equipment.
