HV/MV Substation 115/6.3kV 4.7MVA

Shpellë (Albania)

Description

Construction of the electrical system of a hydroelectric plant in Shpellë. Hydroelectric energy is based on the conversion of natural water flow into electricity and is classified as renewable energy because it is generated by exploiting the kinetic force given by the natural water cycle.

The project consists of metal-enclosed medium-voltage ATR switchgears 12kV 630A 16kA, a power transformer 4.7MVA, an auxiliary transformer 160kVA 6.3/0.4kV, a protection and control panel, a low-voltage (LV) panel AC/DC, high-voltage (HV) circuit breakers, disconnectors, current transformer and voltage transformer (TA/TV), surge arrester, battery system.
