Retrofit Solution

The retrofit solution is an energy requalification work of electric production and distribution plants. Implementing new features and technologies, those devices that are proved to be obsolete in terms of the expected performance level can be changed both in terms of appearance and configuration in order to guarantee the optimal functioning of the plant.

Technical features
  • Renewal of medium (MV) and low voltage (LV) switchgears

  • Replacement of breakers with cutting-edge technological models

  • Reverse engineering of the product to be renewed

  • Assessment and redesign of the mechanical and electrical functionality of the product to be renewed

  • Updating or renewal of measurement, protection and control systems

  • Integration of automation systems, upon request

  • Empowerment of main electric circuits, upon request

Advantages
  • Tailor-made solutions

  • Improvement of functionalities and full restoring of the plant’s efficiency

  • Waste reduction aimed to minimize the environmental impact and pollution

  • Rapid return on investment

  • Extension of the plant’s lifespan

  • Warranty of continuity of service during restoring operations

  • Operation costs’ reduction

  • Good alternative to large investments for replacing or rebuilding the entire plant

Applications
  • Oil & gas

  • Railway sector

  • Smart grid

  • Utility on primary distribution grids

  • Hydroelectric power stations

  • Other electric energy distribution generation plants
