We had the pleasure of attending the inauguration of the #Chevirè plant in Nantes as guests.
For this project, we supplied 1 connection-ready #Switchroom (STC-Box, 33kV) and 1 Control Room, supporting the development of what is now France’s largest stationary battery park.
The site, managed by Harmony Energy, features 52 Tesla Megapack batteries and delivers an impressive 100MW of power, with the ability to inject 200MWh into the grid, enough to supply around 170,000 households for two hours. This milestone illustrates the rapid growth of energy storage in France: by May 1.100MW of storage capacity were operational nationwide, six times more than in 2020.
Located in the industrial area of the Nantes maritime port, this project plays a key role in balancing the electrical grid and supporting the energy transition.
It was a real pleasure to take part in this event and see our solutions in action, a rare but truly rewarding experience to witness the final plant live.
