The project has been implemented in Areza, a rural area in the south of Eritrea, aimed to supply electrical material for a photovoltaic plant.

It has been installed:

  • 13 voltage transformers 200kVA 15000/400/240V;
  • 21 voltage transformers 100kVA 15000/415/240V;
  • 26 voltage transformers 50kVA 15000/415/240V;
  • 30 voltage transformers 25kVA 15000/415/240V.
In addition, the project has included over n. 6000 circuit breakers, n. 170 disconnectors and various types of cables and connectors. The n. 2 viallges in Aresa and Maidma have been interconnected to n. 2 photovoltaic plants of total power 2.7MWp.

The project has the aim to increase the electrical grid of a mine located in the province of Yauyos (Peru) and it has involved the design, construction and supply of n. 7 medium-voltage (MV) Normal Clad switchgear cubicles 24kV 630A 31.5kA and 17.5kV 1250A 31.5kA, with IP65 protection degree, an auxiliary transformer 12600/230V 10kA, materials and accessories necessary for the start-up of the plant.
