Description
We are proud to contribute to a large-scale energy storage project located in Goole (UK), within the former Eggborough Power Station industrial site, today being transformed into a strategic energy hub.
Our scope for the first set includes the design, manufacturing and supply of n. 4 STC-Box switchrooms, each equipped with:
- Air-insulated (AIS) MV switchgear ATR 33kV 2000A 25kA(1s)
- Protection and control panels
- HVAC system
- UPS and rectifiers
-
The solution is designed to ensure reliability, operational continuity and seamless integration with the grid under demanding operating conditions.
The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will reach a power of approximately 299 MW, playing a key role in supporting grid stability and enabling the integration of renewable energy sources.
This project highlights the transition from traditional generation to advanced, flexible energy infrastructure, where storage systems and electrical reliability are essential to the future of the grid.
