Description

Installation will feature 240MW/480MWh of storage capacity and will be connected to the 225kV RTE national grid.

The project contributes to France’s largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and is designed to store enough energy to cover 20% of the residential electricity needs of the Marne department (≈565,000 residents) and will play a key role in stabilizing the grid as renewable energy penetration increases.
It includes the study, deign, manufacturing and delivery of n. 4 switching station and n. 1 control room. The equipment includes:

  • MV switchgear ATR 33kV 2500A 25kA(1s)
  • LV switchboard
  • Patch panel
  • HV bus and interface protection panel Euro-P&C
  • Fire detection system
  • HVAC
  • UPS and rectifier
  • 4G antenna, weather station, GPS, Swicom
