We are excited to announce our participation in the ANIE MISSION TO THE UK, focusing on Energy and Data Centers. The event, organized by ANIE in collaboration with the ITA – Italian Trade Agency London Office and the Italian Embassy, took place in London on May 19th and 20th.
This mission represents a concrete opportunity to explore business prospects and develop partnerships with key players in the energy transition, including utilities, government agencies, and tech clusters.
The workshop at the Italian Embassy brought together leading stakeholders, including National Grid, DESNZ, ESB, Octopus Energy and Jacobs, creating a meaningful exchange on the outlook of the UK market.
As part of the mission, the visit to the VIRTUS Data Centres campus offered first-hand insight into the scale and complexity of these infrastructures, which are becoming increasingly critical to support the rising demand for data and digital services.
Sharing his impressions after the event, our Chief Operating Officer highlighted that “The UK market is offering increasingly structured and emerging opportunities, especially for companies operating across the energy value chain and in data centre infrastructure.”
