Description

We have designed, manufactured and supplied n. 5 eHouses for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Vlissingen, a key hub for renewable energy in the Netherlands.
The great project, called Mufasa, is one of the BESS plant largest ever built in Europe and will replace a former coal-fired power plant connection to the high-voltage grid.

Technical features:

  • N. 4 Switchrooms equipped with ATR MV switchgear 36kV, LV panels with Swicom technology, HVAC system, fire detection system, UPS and rectifiers, roxtech, patch panels, HV protection panels.
  • N. 1 Control room equipped with HVAC system, fire detection system, UPS and rectifiers, roxtech, patch panels, HV transformer protection panels.
The TeslaMegaPack 2XL batteries will be able to charge and discharge 1,400 MWh at 350 MW power capacity, several times per day: sufficient to power well over 200.000 households.
