Description

Design, manufacturing and supply of a switchroom for the 35MW/70MWh Skeeby Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), located just outside Richmond in North Yorkshire.

Our Switchroom is equipped with MV switchgear ATR 36kV 1250A 25kA(1s), LV switchboard, UPS & rectifier, patch panel, 4G antenna, weather station, GPS, swicom, SCADA system, HVAC system, fire detection system.
The project is designed to increase the grid stability, secure renewable energy supply, decrease the risk of a blackout and support the nation’s zero net goals. Furthermore, we are proud that this plant is part of a wider community-focused initiative. Beyond energy, the project supports local quality of life and social cohesion through dedicated community funds, proving that the energy transition can truly empower local people.
