STC-SKID: Up to 10MVA power for Distributed Inverter solution

C.R. Technology System is fully engaged and believes in the development of clean energy, supplying and studying always more efficient and tailor-made green solutions.

Thanks to the continuous understanding of market demands and exploring technical and cost-effective proposals, we are ready to offer and install a range of solutions for PV transformation cabins.

The main drivers for selecting the best solution are:

  1. Space availability on the field.
  2. Local Regulation of installation and environmental impact (e.i. color code/dimensions/special treatments).
  3. Types of selected Inverters (distributed or centralized solution)
  4. Power Transformer topology and power rating (Dry type or Hermetic Oil type transformer)

Once the customer identifies the main key drivers, C.R. Technology Systems can propose the following solutions.

STC-SKID: Up to 10MVA power for Distributed Inverter solution

Distributed Inverter Skid offers can be composed and designed in different sets up according to the site needs and to allow the easy way of maintenance:

  • Medium-voltage switchgear can be outdoor (like the sample image here below) or indoor version: air-insulated (AIS), gas-insulated (GIS), or Eco-GIS.
  • Low-voltage (LV) parallel switchboards can be supplied having LV fuse protections online inverters or using MCB’s
  • Oil type transformer (ONAN-KNAN) equipped with Oil tank collector with proper separating valves in case of oil dropping from the Hermetic casting, allowing the separation of the oil form the natural water presence due to rain (see also the solution equipped with top roof)
  • Fence for IP20 access to Power transformer can be supplied if required (e.i acc. to EGP std)
  • MV and LV terminals on power transformer are always supplied to achieve the IP54 protection degree on minimum base (LV connections, according to the rated current design, can be either via power cable or via busbar duct).
  • Access control on LV and MV rooms available.
  • Fire detection and manual (or automatic) extinguishing available on request.
  • Anti-rodent system available on request.
  • Meteo-station available on request.
  • MV and LV control rooms can be equipped with HVAC system (split type or pressurized air sol).
  • Stairs and metallic elevating legs available on request (in case the Oil collector will be above the ground level and made locally in concrete solution (see sample image)
  • Online 24/7 temperature monitoring system for MV – LV – Power transformer (CRTS solution made) available on request.

STC-SKID: Up to 4,4MVA power for Centralized Inverter solution

Centralized Inverter Skid offer can be composed and designed in different set up according to the site needs and to allow the easy way of maintenance, here’s few notes on this:

  • MV switchgears can be outdoor (like the sample image here below) or indoor version, AIS / GIS / EcoGIS
  • Oil type transformer (ONAN-KNAN) equipped with Oil tank collector with proper separating valves in case of oil dropping from the Hermetic casting, allowing the separation of the oil form the natural water presence due to rain (see also the solution equipped with top roof)
  • Fence for IP20 access to Power transformer can be supplied if required (e.i acc. to EGP std)
  • MV terminals on power transformer are always supplied to achieve the IP54 protection degree on minimum base.
  • Connection from Centralized inverter to Power transformer done by Busbar duct (IP54 protection degree) and according to Inverter manufacturer designed solution (see sample image here below)
  • Access control on LV and MV rooms available.
  • Fire detection and manual (or automatic) extinguishing available on request.
  • Anti-rodent system available on request.
  • Meteo-station available on request.
  • MV and LV control rooms can be either supplied with HVAC system (split type or pressurized air sol).

STC-KIOSK: Up to 4MVA power for Distributed Inverter solution using Dry Type Transformers

The main difference between the two SKID solutions listed here above is the fact that STC-Kiosk using Dry type transformer is a full indoor solution (even for the Power transformer zone) due-to the necessity of air pollution control (filters) and force air cooling required from the Dry-type transformer (tangential Air Extractor).

Complete solution is IP54 & IK10 proven solution, completely type tested.
